Homies is a free app provided as a SERVICE by MadCortex (www.madcortex.com) at no cost and is intended for use as is. This page is used to inform users of privacy policies with regards to collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information for anyone who decides to use our Service. If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation with this privacy policy. The Personal Information that is collected through the app will be used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy. The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meaning as in our Terms & Conditions, which is accessible inside the app as Privacy Policy.

Information Collection and Use

For a better experience while using our Service, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Occupation, Phone Numbers, Emails, Locations, Pictures. The information collected is stored on a secured cloud storage. We use the Amazon Web Service to store data. Privacy policy of which can be read here - https://aws.amazon.com/privacy.  We do not record the live location of user, however the location of their listings, or the search area is recorded and is intended to be used for in-app operations (matching algorithm). To record the location the app uses third party services that may collect information used to identify you. This include Google Location Services, whose privacy policy can be found here - https://policies.google.com/technologies/location-data?hl=en-IN.
We will not ask for sensitive information about you eg. details of your racial or ethnic origin, political affiliations, religious beliefs, sexual preferences, criminal convictions or health information.
In case the user wants to make unavailable the data provided to us through the app, he/she can delete their account, and all their stored data will be deleted from our servers within 20 days.
 
Duration of storage of your personal information
We keep your personal information till the time you voluntarily delete your account through the app.
 
Log Data

We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in case of an error in the app, we collect data and information on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, configuration of the app while utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service and other statistics.

We may employ third-party companies and individuals due to the following reasons: • To facilitate our Service. • To provide the Service on our behalf. • To perform Service-related services; or • To assist us in analysing how our Service is used. We want to inform users of this Service that these third parties have access to your Personal Information. The reason is to perform the tasks assigned to them on our behalf. However, they are obligated not to disclose or use the information for any other purpose.

We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use all acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, hence we cannot guarantee its absolute security. Users are suggested to keep backups of all the files that they upload at a secured location.
 
Children’s Privacy

This Services do not address anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under 18. In the case we discover that anyone under 18 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do necessary actions.
